The Tiramisu is a worldwide known Italian dessert, although its recipe may seem somewhat complicated, it is simple. The key to this dessert recipe’s delicious flavor and creamy texture lies in the mixture of coffee and amaretto, that are used to soak the Lady Fingers. The touch of pure cocoa is simply spectacular.

  • 2 cups of mascarpone cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 300 grams of Ladyfingers
  • 3/4 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of coffee
  • 3/4 tablespoons of Amaretto
  1. Start by separating the egg whites from the yolks. Put them in two separate bowls.
  2. To the egg whites bowl, add half of the sugar (75mg) and beat until very frothy. Let them rest.
  3. Add the rest of the Sugar (75mg) to the bowl containing the yolks. Beat the Sugar and the Yolks until they become lighter, and the sugar grains are no longer noticeable. Then, little by little add the mascarpone cheese, mixing well.
  4. Now, combine the beaten egg whites with the yolks and mascarpone cheese, mixing with gentle movements until you obtain a soft and fluffy cream.
  5. In a separate container, mix unsweetened coffee with almond liqueur. Quickly dip the ladyfingers into this mixture and place them on a tray until the entire base is covered.
  6. Spread half of the prepared cream mixture on the base layer in the tray, then cover the cream layer with a second layer of Lady Fingers that should be then covered with the remaining of the cream mixture. Make sure the top layer is smooth.
  7. Cover the tray with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight to set.
  8. Before serving, remove the plastic wrap then sprinkle the top layer with some cocoa. You are all done! Your easy delicious Tiramisu is now ready to be enjoyed!
