More information about this product
In this fascinating region, cold and heat come together to produce a unique coffee. Grown at an altitude of nearly 2,300 meters above sea level, Nariño coffee can thrive thanks to the area's high solar radiation, which creates a layer of heat during the day that protects the crops from extreme cold temperatures at night.
Most of Nariño's 34,000 coffee growers are direct descendants of the region's original inhabitants. As a result, their customs prevail unaltered. The community is known for its love and respect for the land and its strong work ethic. They own small lots of land that do not exceed an average of 2 hectares.
